Critique On A Blog

I read a blog on National Review titled "Gov. Hogan Is Seriously Considering Running" it talks about Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan's consideration in a primary challenge against President Trump. In the blog the blogger explains that he opposed to some of Trump's controversial policies. An example is that Hogan called back the National Guard troops from the U.S.-Mexico border in protest of the immigration policies. Hogan said that he has already traveled ten states to increase voter's interest. Hogan sort of wants to see if people are willing to support him because he wouldn't just do something that won't work for him in the future. The blogger mentions that Hogan expressed his disappointment in the Republican party leadership for supporting Trump and said "that he no longer recognizes his own party." Hogan explains that he's disappointed about them because they changed the rules and are giving 100 percent loyalty to the President. Hogan says that the Republican party wasn't the same as it used to be when it supported President George Bush and worked for President Ronald Reagan. I believe this is not a bad blog but it is definitely not the best. It needs more details. However, the last added part helps it because the blogger gives an example of another Republican, governor Bill Weld, whom is also against President Donald Trump , though he seems not to get as much attention as governor Hogan. I don't agree nor disagree with the author because I didn't know about this until I read the blog.
